   Mar 29,  · Although some might say this being pretentious hype or directed by the dictating contractual obligations to Mute, Martin Gore is a stunning artist a few rarely existed walking on this planet with such sensibility in song writing, especially here, in his second 'Counterfeit' series choosing eleven songs injected his own bits of fresh blood to arrange into beautiful minimal electronic /5().

   Counterfeit² is the first solo LP by Martin Gore, the primary songwriter for the band Depeche Mode, and his second release (his first being Counterfeit e.p. in ).. Released April 28, in Europe and April 29, in the USA, Counterfeit² is an album featuring 11 covers of songs that Martin considered influential to his own compositions for Depeche Mode.

   In a nutshell ¨C it¡¯s a great album of covers but disappointing to those looking for something which stretches the talents of Martin L Gore. Not such a great sound quality from the CD though, copies badly onto MP3 (leaves it sounding quiet and flat) the reviewer who said that the CD player couldn¡¯t go high volume enough was quite right/5(65).
